International Paper, a Tennessee-based paper giant, has entered into an all-stock deal to acquire DS Smith, a British packaging company, for a value of $7.2 billion. Upon completion of the deal, International Paper intends to pursue a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange. Subsequently, DS Smith shares fell over 2% in the UK market.
